ELECTRONIC MUSIC
Electronic music is music that employs electronic musical instruments, digital instruments and circuitry-based music technology. Devices such as the theremin, synthesizer, and computer can produce electronic sounds. During the 1920s and 1930s, electronic instruments were introduced and the first compositions for electronic instruments were made. However, it's a bit difficult to say what is
actually electronic music nowadays.
TRAP MUSIC
Trap music is a style of hip hop music that was developed in the early 2000s in the Southern United States. It is typified by sub-divided hi-hats, heavy, sub-bass layered kick drums in the style of the Roland TR-808 drum machine, typically in half time syncopated rhythms, layered with abstract or orchestral synthesizers and an overall melancholy to dark ambience and lyrical content.
Trap music is known for its ominous and often bleak, gritty vocals and lyrical content.
TECHNO MUSIC
Techno is a form of electronic dance music, generally repetitive instrumental music, often produced for use in a continuous DJ set. The central rhythm is often in common time (4/4), while the tempo typically varies between 120 to 150 beats per minute (bpm). The style resulted from the melding of African American styles such as house, funk, and electro with technopop. Some producers view the style
as an expression of technological spirituality.
ROCK MUSIC
Rock music is a broad genre of popular music that originated as "rock and roll" in the United States in the early 1950s. Musically, rock has centered on the electric guitar, usually as part of a rock group with electric bass, drums, and one or more singers. Rock music has also embodied and served as the vehicle for cultural and social movements. Rock music has been associated with political activism as well as changes in social attitudes to race, sex and drug use.
HIP HOP MUSIC
Hip Hop is a genre of popular music developed in the United States by inner-city African Americans and Latino Americans in the Bronx borough of New York City in the 1970s. It consists of a stylized rhythmic music that commonly accompanies rapping, a rhythmic and rhyming speech that is chanted.
The roots of rapping are found in African-American music but Hip hop music was also influenced by disco music.
